Who are we?
We are a growing group of scientists who are dedicated to fostering connections and representations for female (and other gender minority) scientists in the field of high pressure. Join us as we work towards creating a more inclusive and supportive community for women in high-pressure research!
Our aims
Our mission is to unite and empower individuals in a domain that historically does not reflect our diverse perspectives. Maintaining a current directory of women in the field and keeping up to date on relevant statistics, our goal is to connect and represent women in the field globally.
Why?
Data is a powerful tool in the battle against discrimination and plays a crucial role in fighting gender equality for several reasons: identification of disparities, monitoring progress, awareness, accountability and setting benchmarks within the field!
Are you a woman researcher in the high pressure sciences? This is a place for you to find community with other researchers who have/are following the same path as you. You can also find out what other researchers in the field have been up to in our news section.

Are you organizing a conference or part of a committee? Extending invitations to women and other gender minorities for your meetings and considering them for committee roles not only helps you gain access to exceptional scientific insights but also contributes to the fight against gender discrimination in science. Additionally, you set a noteworthy representation of women in science, offering valuable references and role models for numerous young researchers in attendance.
Recognizing the importance of fair gender representation in your high pressure organization/event but finding it challenging to identify women or other minorities in the field? While we might be a minority, there are more of us than you might realize. We want assist you in discovering qualified individuals who align with the objectives of your organization through our directory.
